in a naive application of the multiverse theory, all those timelines are possible, therefore they exist, and no amount of time travel or action on starlight’s part can do anything to create or destroy them.
 
therefore starlight glimmer is guilty of nothing more than exploration outside of her timeline, caused none of the evil timelines to happen, and nothing is her fault.

My point is, if Glim-Glam can be forgiven for brainwashing enough ponies to make an entire village out of them, and for creating multiple alternate timelines wherein just about everypony in Equestria is enslaved, struggling to survive, or dead (and there’s nothing that I know of which would suggest that those timelines don’t still exist), then Suri’s one comparatively minuscule transgression shouldn’t have been punished so severely.  
Alternatively, if Suri simply being a bitch did warrant her life being ruined, then Starlight should be in the deepest pits of Tartarus for the atrocities she has committed.

Like Starlight Glimmer, who brainwashed an entire village and stole their cutie marks (and by extension, their talents), and then went back in time to try to prevent the first Sonic Rainboom that gave the Mane 6 their cutie marks. But now all is forgiven and she’s practically a main character.  
Whereas Suri was just a bitch and an attempted design thief, and her life was ruined for it.

God knows ponies who have done way worse have ended up in better situations.

suri really got the raw end of the deal with the mystery box o’ harmony. the breezies reunite with their families. flim and flam go on to own a casino. cheese sandwich is on a world tour. spitfire remains captain of the wonderbolts. discord isn’t locked in tartarus the dick. and suri loses… everything.

We need more AND less regulation, and more competition to lower prices and kill monopolies.
 
Still, though, some places are worse. I had a friend bleeding profusely from his ear waiting like 4 hours in a South Korean hospital emergency room, because theirs is free so they pop in whenever they feel like a change in scenery or their favorite sports team lost, I kid you not.

If I came across her here, I’d kick the water at her, call her names, and smash her box. And then as she looked up at me asking “why?” I would look back smiling and say “I just wanted to make sure you got the full misery and suffering’s worth out of your time being homeless.” and then I would laugh. “Because this is your last day being homeless.” And then I would take her in and let her live with me… Oh wait no she’s calling me crazy and now the police are here. It was meant to be misleadingly nice officers, I was trying to help! AAAAA YOU ARE HURTING MY ARM!

Well, she could either become more bitter and resentful from this, or make an opportunity to change her outlook. Maybe when someone saves her from this life with kindness, she’ll be less inclined to think “it’s everypony for themselves”…
