Actually, that shield is straight from the RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type; more commonly known as the Ground Gundam. As for Pinkie’s Party Cannon, it seems to be a simplified version of the Ground Gundam’s 180mm Cannon. I assume so, since it’s the only weapon that comes the closest in terms of overall design.
