My headcanon is that if Human Sunset Shimmer and Pony Sunset Shimmer were to ever come into contact, Pony Sunset wouldn’t be very kind to her human counterpart while Human Sunset would be rather smug and superior in attitude to her pony self.

No, I don’t remember. It’s just at some point they start talking about her. I don’t believe it was a super-long in-depth discussion. Just a quick comment where they basically said they had given thought to it at one point but then decided that Sunset was singular in the world, and that not everyone necessarily had a counterpart.
Do you happen to know when they drop tat tidbit? Like any specific time when?

Pretty sure it was Friendship Games. They also discussed desaturating her color because she “Was no longer a villain.” As if bright coloring makes you a villain or something.

Well, IIRC they also mentioned others potentially not having counterparts, or rather, that “not everyone has a counterpart.”

I kinda wish they didn’t explain that way. Makes Sunset sound more important special than she is. Don’t get me wrong, I like her but the only one without a counterpart makes it seem it was her Destiny to be become the protector of the EG world or something.

It’s the same look as her old self. There’s no attempt to distinguish her.
You could say that it “represents” her old self but I don’t buy that personally.

Well it could be interpreted that way. I just figured that Human Sunset would be more in line with Pre-reformation Sunset than Post-reformation Sunset, which doesn’t seem to come up all that often.
