As I said, I wasn’t excusing how he was acting, but my point was you’re acting no better, no offense, and you need to calm down a bit.
 
Also, while he may of traced some things in the past, you didn’t provide any proof he ripped off the “Cowboy Bebop” image other then claiming different parts of the pose looked familiar to you. And if that’s the case, every artist whom ever used reference for something is an art thief.
 
But I don’t wanna argue about that any further either, as you, I, and others already had their say on the image, and that’s a different topic.

Still, you were/are getting very personal with him. I’m not excusing what Toxic did in the past, but accusing him of tracing/plagerizing with no concrete proof, and such didn’t really help your case either. You even made an art piece as a “take that” against him. >>1382353 I’m amazed you’re that obsessive with him, and the drama surrounding him.
 
No offense, but you need to let this grudge go for a li’l while at least, or move on from this above comic image, at least. (And perhaps the rest of us too.)

I don’t consider Toxic a saint, but honestly the people accusing him of plagiarism, (or other crimes against humanity) and such aren’t really acting much better, and are downright obsessive with this Toxic-Mario “drama,” and with trying to constantly “expose him.” With the way they’re acting, neither side is really helping their case.  
(Also, there is a difference between harmless constructive critique, and needless constant bashing.)

To be honest, usually the only thing in your art that allows me to identify whether they’re fillies or older is how big their heads are. You really do need to work on making the differences in proportions more noticeable.

Actually you can tell if you follow my art enough. Lately they can be more between teen and filly…..simple

My main problem is that it’s often almost impossible to tell with Tox’s art whether the characters are supposed to be fillies, teens, or adults from comic to comic, because the proportions are always exactly the same.

Just saying that good anatomy is nice to the eyes. If a body looks broken and out of place in several places that puts some artists off and then they can’t enjoy the “joke” anymore. I get that most fans of Toxic’s don’t mind it because often they have trouble with anatomy themselves or aren’t artists.  
When you’re an artist that pays attention to the art rather than the content then you just can’t help but cringe at people’s wrong anatomy.

You really have too much time on your hands, do you?  
While Toxic has his flaws, you’re exaggerating some things like AJ is nowhere near as big as “Whoa Nelly.” (A comically obese character.) If you wish for people like Toxic to take your critique seriously, and see that it’s harmless that’s not the way to do it. (I also see other passive aggressive remarks in your “critique edit” picture. “Kill me.” Oy vey. Yeah, that’ll really get the artist to listen…)
 
Though, honestly, I tire of people acting like the show style & anatomy are “flawless” whenever they criticize certain artists. Watch those many “animation mistake” videos, and you’ll see the characters go off model, or get wonky anatomy, stand funny, exaggerate their movements, get too stretchy, and such.

Thank you. I had a feeling there was more to say about the anatomy but I’m not experienced enough yet to be be able to point out all the issues. Everything you pointed out makes sense to me at least.
 
I agree that anatomy is not a stylistic choice, even disregarding show style, anatomy should be consistent from piece to piece done in the same art style. I was actually looking at some of his previous pieces too when making that comment.

Like I said above, I do hope you realize that consistent anatomy is not really a style choice, but more of a necessary part of drawing characters consistently so like Skygunner pointed out the anatomy doesn’t look odd or broken. I noticed you didn’t address that part of my comment but I do know anatomy is important. Hopefully these issues we pointed out help you out when sketching out anatomy in the future ^^
