Astra: clings to Twilight
 
Twilight: Aw. You’re going to like Daybreak, sweetheart. I’ve only met her once; when she was born - but I’ve heard so much about her! Her mother is Sunset Shimmer, one of my best friends. Do you remember Auntie Sunset Shimmer?
 
Astra: grumbles No.
 
Twilight: giggles She’s from another world. When you meet her, make friends, okay? This world is new to little Daybreak, and it’ll be nice for her to have a friend to show her around.
 
Astra: pouts
 
Twilight: sees Sunset Shimmer walking towards them Here the are! waves
 
Sunset: Hey, Twilight. hugs Twilight It’s been a while.
 
Twilight: A couple of years. returns hug Where’s your little one?
 
Sunset: Right here. sits down and allows a small pink filly to slide off her back
 
Daybreak: Eh
 
Twilight: Aww she has grown so much! How have you been adjusting to our world, sweetie?
 
Daybreak: blinks at Twilight and hides behind Sunset
 
Sunset: She’s just a little shy. Once you got to know her, she can be quite the chatterbox.
 
Twilight: smiles Oh really. peeks behind Sunset
 
Daybreak: hides face
 
Sunset: chuckles She’s passionate about everything. She loves your- um, our - world. Kept staring at all the ponies we passed by all the way here.
 
Twilight: Oh, that’s great!
 
Sunset: It is. nods enthusiastically I’ve rarely ever been to Ponyville during the years I lived in this world. I wonder how much Canterlot has changed, though.
 
Twilight: We can arrange a trip there later on, if you’d like.
 
Sunset: Sounds good. It would also a good chance to show my girls around and maybe meet Princess Celestia.
 
Twilight: Oh! I can’t- sees Daybreak crawling towards Astra Oh hey.
 
Sunset: looks down
 
Astra: whimpers and clings tighter to Twilight
 
Daybreak: appears excited Hi!
 
Astra: frowns
 
Daybreak: I am Daybreak Luster. You are Astraea Shimmer?
 
Astra: That’s not me.
 
Daybreak: frowns But I’ve seen pictures. You’re Astraea.
 
Twilight: nudges Astra
 
Astra: .. fine. I am Astra.
 
Daybreak: Great! You can call me Daybreak. I have a sister. She didn’t come with us today, but you can meet her another time!
 
Astra: ..ok
 
Daybreak: Ohh man, you’re a princess! Must be great to be a princess! I want to be a princess one day too. I have this little paper crown my momma made for me. All my teddies and dolls are my loyal subjects and gives the best hugs!
 
Astra: … man?
 
Daybreak: tugs at Astra’s leg You are soooo shy! We are going to be best friends! You’re going to have to show me how wings work sometime- oooohhh did you notice that I have a horn? How cool is that?!
 
Twilight: giggles
 
Sunset: whispers to Twilight They are going to get along just fine
 
 
Day live the poor filly alone  
Sunset Shimmer continued to live in the human world as she grew to love the world even more than she did as a highschool student. Eventually, she loved someone there as well and had two girls - one of them being Daybreak. Astra feels Daybreak is pushy, but Day really means well. It took a while for Astra to stop imagining her new friend as a two-legged living being.
 
Finally getting some Next Gen stuff out. It’s been a while. Thinking of uploading some traditional sketches for the sake of being a bit more active here, since it’s been difficult to find the time for digital. Even this was kind of sloppily done oops
