Sure friend, I’m glad people try to understand that perhaps the romantic aspects aren’t completely off-limit for the show. Just because it has frinedship in the title, doesn’t meant they can’t tackle romantic side of frinedship since every actual romance is based on mutual respect, trust and bond. The things that only close friends really share.
 
And if that make you feel better, although I’m mostly convinced that Fluttercord has the most focus throughout the series, I can also notice that Starburst is also somehwat teased in the first episode of S6. Starlight did blushed after saying goodbye to Sunburst so whether it something that S7 could focus on, I have no idea but its certainly on the same level as MarbleMac. While I’m sure 99% of fandom ships will never comes to fruition, I think you should still hope for the best. FlutterCord, Starburst, MarbleMac and also CheesePie, SoariDash and probably even EmberSpike have enough potential to be expanded upon in the future.

Starburst is my favorite ship, yes. And I desperately want it to be fully canonized, yes. But I don’t expect that to ever happen. If it does happen, then I’ll be happy, but if it doesn’t, it won’t bother me too much.

…The funny thing is that I actually kind of do like the Fluttercord AND Dislestia ships. I’m a firm believer in the idea that you don’t have to limit yourself to one ship per character.
 
As for Mike Vogel, while he is no longer the top Hasbro Studios executive, he may or may not still have some creative input. Maybe. I dunno, that stuff gets pretty confusing to me sometimes.

What does it matter that he isn’t working on Season7? He is mostly dictating the narration and story arcs along with McCarthy. His episodes that he wrote aren’t even related to FlutterCord so he doesn’t need to be a writer for this to happen.

Of course i don’t say that all of them watch it but is as clear as day that the show is catering to them the same way as the 100th episodes was catering to all popular headcanons. You also assume that I’m saying that Hasbro watch fanfics to learn about it which is wrong as always since you usually project or presume a lot about what i say. Little girls tweet with the show staff all the time, they send them links to vidoes and images. After years of that they know pretty well which ships are popular. Do you really think Fluttershy blushed at the end of S6 because she was suddenly shy or because it was cold outside? Get over yourself, by the look of your avatar i also see that you ship Starlight with Sunburst so why are you so upset about differnet ship? Annoyed that yours doesn’t have as much attenntion?

Your reasoning is flawed. Little girls were playing with Ken and Barbie dolls since 80’s or earlier and we also had romance in earlier generations of pony. Not to mention the shoe intorduced Cadance and wedding as well as Flash Sentry and FlashLight just to cater to litte girls. Entire fluttercord is teased because little girls watch Bride of Discord and it gained millions of views on you tube. The entire point that shipping may happen in this series is BECAUSE it is meant for little girls and not for bronies. Bronies act like maybe 1% of shippers overall.

Also the creators of the show said “we wanted to make a show both kids and parents could enjoy” it was not meant soley for kids Hasbro markets towards them but the show is not written by Hasbro.
 
Kids are not as smart as adults I didn’t say they were you pulled that out of thin air, kids like stuff that is good, there were shows I liked and disliked thinking all kids like mindless stuff is ridiculous. You’re trying too hard. Kids are not stupid especially the age demographic this show is meant for. I don’t give a damn about shipping or whatever you lot are complaining about but that statement is the second stupidest one I’ve read tonight.

This is a show for toddlers. unless two characters are explicitly stated in the show to be in love, such as the cakes, cadance and shining armor, or caramel and sassaflash, they’re not. Don’t give me any bullshit about “subtle hints”, most of the time, it’s just people seeing what they want to see in ambiguity, and shows for little kids are only ambiguous if as a result of bad writing, and the other time, it’s taking stuff out of context to suit your own narrative or using information from outside sources that is not meant to be taken completely seriously. Remember what kind of show you’re watching, this is not the kind of show to subtly hinted at anything.

No one said it’s canon. Just like Naruto wasn’t canon with Hinata until the last movie came out, it’s a ongoing theme for 3 years now. People thinking that their other Discord ship have chances and trying to damage control all fluttercord stuff in the last 4 seasons is just funny. I see non shippers comments like “oh well Fluttercord seem like a thing now. Moving on.” while Dislestia shippers and anti-shippers in general going full salt mode ever since Season 6 finale was aired. Either get over it or ignore it. You don’t need to show everyone how upset you are over the show not pandering to your tastes.
