I agree. It is pretty amazing what humans are capable off. This does not mean we should not engage and call out the ones that under- or Mississippi this formidable gift of nature.
Well, take a minute to reflect on the fact that we’re creatures that somehow have this like Lovecraftian ability to form little neural structures to replicate a larger universe outside by isolating and understanding fundamental laws of reality.
Intelligence isn’t something to be taken for granted. It’s sad when someone doesn’t care to fulfill their potential in that, but it’s really amazing we have it in the first place.
Just look at all the other kinds of life on Earth. We weren’t entitled to intelligence.

So it is. Also I never saw a matrix until college, but anything more than a quick look and you realize that’s a table, not a matrix.
Also, among the adventures in my life was teaching an adult that 10% of something was just carrying the decimal over a space. You should’ve seen their face light up when they started realizing they could calculate what 10% of something was, heh…
