It’s funny to read stuff like this today.

Hasbro nor the production crew said anything about Season 3 being the last. It was just a bunch of hooligans spreading rumors scaring people.
 
I do think Pokemon needs to at get rid of that idiotic Ash Ketchum with a more competent Male/Female protagonist. Really, the fact he isn’t aging is really getting old.

No offense. Those who spread rumors about the series ending for good without solid confirmation are doing more harm to the morale of fans than helping.  
That also goes for doomsayers who claim to be able to predict the apocalypse when their views are vague.

This will not be the last season because of all the money Hasbro is making.
 
Our Hasbros could just be having a busy year or something.

A well feed man will get tired of every food more easily.  
A hungry man will find almost everything palatable.
 
Perhaps being more starved of something for a reasonable amount of time will make us welcome it more.
 
Look at what happened to shows like Simpsons, Spongebob Squarepants, and Pokemon. These are shows that have been on for quite a long time and have become trash. Too many fillers was what made me ultimately stop watching Pokemon regularly. I think they could have revamped the Pokemon Anime by introducing a new protagonist to replace Ash, but no, they stuck with their existing idea to no end. I do not want FiM to end up that way.  
On topic here, I am upset about having only 13 episodes. However, I do not want too see this community lose itself and fall apart. That to me is the worst possible thing. Optimism is the key.

Hasbro is good at ng money. Hasbro loves money. Hasbro will not stop making money.
 
They’re just going to do 13 eps a season. Trixie is okay with this.

I think this will be the last season, everyone can downplay it all you please but you all know its possible.

it’s not really depressing and i can understand that. hell i’m here less for the show than the community at this point. with that said i still enjoy the show and by limiting it you can enjoy it longer. ex steak is a treat because you have it only so often, if you had steak everyday you’d tire of it rather quickly. and at least MLP is getting a season. unlike something else that was supposed to start back not to long ago ;_;

But still, this means the show airtime is just going to be stretched out right? I mean, we may not get as much content at once but at least we can still enjoy it longer?

Toei’s animation tends to suffer for it, though. They also outpace the manga doing that, which leads to filler.

Why can’t Hasbro just be like Toei and make 50 some episodes a season every single year? DX

Maybe I was just a strange kid, but I watched cartoons so much that it got to the point where I knew exactly what the characters were saying and how they said it.

Still, reruns are becoming less and less relevant, what with DVR, Netflix, and Youtube.

Gonna be honest I have only rewatched one episode of FIM ever  
and this makes sense

That’s an interesting insight, and as a non-outdoorsy kid who didn’t even have too many video games or Net access, I can see what the writer’s getting at. It’s a smart marketing move, but one I have thankfully not seen done. As always, the miserable state of the US economy ruins everything.
