Markings: freckles on face, random scars from various fights/training
Accessories: foreleg wraps (always on after acquiring cutie mark)

Origin:
Born in Manehattan but family moved to Canterlot shortly after her brother was born. Parents hoped a more sophisticated unicorn city would influence their children to try and follow in their hoof steps.

History and Personality:

Fire Strike’s dream is to become the greatest fighter in Equestria, if not the world. She was always rambunctious as a filly and got along better with colts than with mares. However due to her size and gender she was constantly underestimated by those around her and pressured by her parents and teachers to act more “ladylike”. This led to some predictable insecurities. After hitting an older dragon in the face in attempt to prove her bravery to her classmates, she earned her cutie mark and realized that fighting was her true passion. Deciding that the only way she can become stronger is to train with someone amazing, she decides to demand that the dragon train her. He refuses for months, but eventually relents admiring her spirit and empathizing with her need to prove herself due to her size (for he was also a runt). However she must agree to leave her family behind. She does so without a second thought. After spending years training with her mentor Fire Strike is now an accomplished fighter but still far from where she wants to be. Now grown, she has left her mentor (though visits often) in search of opportunities to prove herself the best. On her travels she met Howling Moon and after a series of events that will be elaborated upon later the two became inseparable friends. Now finding that there is more to life than training, Fire Strike and Howling Moon have moved to the outskirts of Ponyville. New to town, she is trying hard to make new friends but is finding it extremely difficult due to her brash and boisterous nature. Though she has never had a special somepony, Fire Strike is aware and comfortable with the fact that she is interested only in mares. She secretly wishes she had been born a stallion but knows that there’s nothing to be done about it and is determined to prove herself equal in power and ability to any challenger, regardless of gender.

One of her nervous tics is to flick her tail up and down when she’s nervous, which many ponies interpret as aggressive behavior. When she is actually feeling aggressive however, she flicks her tail from side to side in anticipation.

Though she has calmed down considerably since filly-hood, Fire Strike is still extremely quick to anger and will most often attempt to solve a problem by hitting it rather than thinking things through. She is generally though, an extremely positive and optimistic pony who loves being with her friends (whom she would do anything for) and doing whatever she can to make them happy. Her personality tends to change drastically when she is faced with a challenge or is in the ring. Her normally cheerful demeanor is replaced with pure determination and fighting spirit. She has yet to re-establish contact with her parents but has recently begun trying to reconnect with her brother.
