I think it would be funny if there was an MLP Animation about the Hearthswarming Eve play only for a ponified Adam Conover to appear and say outright how wrong everything about the holidays’ origins was: then we get treated to a skit similar to ARE where he clarifies exactly what happened, one of such things being that back before Equestria, while the three pony tribes didn’t like one-another: the Earth Ponies were treated exactly like slaves for the usage of the Pegasi and Unicorns, and that it was actually the efforts of an Earth Pony that led to the creation of the Crystal Heart as a defense mechanism that relied upon latent Earth Pony magic that got rid of the Wendigoes. And that the art of Earth Pony magic was considered to be lost to time in the modern sense because the high-and-mighty Unicorns didn’t like the idea of abandoning their dependance on a slave market economy to grow their food for them. It wasn’t until the advent of the Royal Sisters that pulled away the control of the sun and moon from the Unicorns that led to them being on the same footing as the Earth Ponies that they looked down upon. And that while the art of Earth Pony magic died in Equestria, a colony of the same Earth Ponies that pioneered the discovery so long ago afterwards traveled north and setup the Crystal Empire as a basis of the art of Earth Pony Magic… until it too was censored and abandoned by Unicorns born of Earth Ponies up in the empire until the art was considered a myth because the primer was hidden away by the original settlers for a time…
