This particular drawing really delineates the difference between Littlepip and Blackjack. Littlepip was just your typical goody two-shoes classical heroine, for the most part, and Blackjack was this craven, hunched-over, substance-addled thing that was just as dangerous to her allies as her enemies.

Really shows the contradiction in main characters
 
“I must defeat you for great justice”  
“Don’t run away it makes it easier for me to shoot you in the ass!”
 
(although both cases end with the heroes crying about having to take another ponies life the moment they are alone)
