Ah, I see. I look very very young IRL, and I’m quite short too.
Ohhhh no, you misunderstand me…online, I get mistaken for a teenaged girl because of something in the way I talk and the things I like.
But in real life, I am mistakenly assumed to be near retirement age. Despite actually being 34. I’ve actually been mistaken for my retired father’s younger brother! (Not to mention my mother’s partner, or my sister’s dad…although when I was in school, I was mistaken for my sister’s boyfriend). I get misidentified a hella lot, basically. :P
That’s hilarious. Though, admittedly I get mistaken for a teen too. lol
It’s probably better to look young then old.

I actually used to get mistaken for a girl too. Heck, even online I tend to get mistaken for one. lol
I think they work better as best friends too. But I do think that a first meeting between them as teens might have Rares mistaking AJ for a boy. Heck, as a young boy, I used to be mistaken for a girl! (I had longish curly blonde hair when I was little)

Honestly, I prefer the “mane 6 characters” to just remain “just friends” with each other. I honestly prefer platonic relationships.
I could see a younger Rares mistaking AJ for male, she is a tomboy after all. But I find it quite unlikely that the reverse would’ve been true…@Background Pony #51BA
