Description

After nine long months of work and plenty of issues along the way, I finally got my Ithaca 37 finished. It’s certainly no IF-88, but it seemed like the perfect Blackjack gun when I got it. In addition to an improved version of my heat shield modification, I’ve also machined out an entirely custom glass breaker on the end of the barrel and surface ground all of the receiver screws flush. Like most of my guns, this one was once again Cerakoted in graphite black but with a bit of a twist.

Here are some closeup shots, so this doesn’t get tagged as “barely pony related.”

I bought this particular Ithaca for about $600, but spent about $200 more on parts and accessories.

Unless you have some machine skills and access to the equipment, you’d probably need a gunsmith to re-drill the receiver, modify the heat shield, and refinish the gun.
