Flurry is very magic powerful but Skyla is Superfast! so is make great duo! but yes sometime both fight to a other! is normal, all kids agains thier brother/sister!

I suppose Velvet’s purple mane and white coat was inherited by Twilight and Shining respectively. Plus, the white coat from Rarity’s dad may also be accompanied by the purple mane from Rarity’s Mom, and all three fillies got curls in their manes. :j

People might assume that, because oh her coloring, much like how they did with Dinky & Derpy.
 
Ironically, most parental ponies rarely share similar coloring with their children. Only ones I can think of, are the Cake Twins being yellow like their father. As well as Sweetie & Rarity being white like their Dad.

@Kuromi: I would like to know where the interpretation that Skyla is Cadence’s daughter even comes from. As there’s nothing that’s confirmed about that.

I didn’t mind the introduction of new alicorns. Heck, Cadance became my favourite character. I wasn’t a big fan of seeing Twi become one… just cuz I thought she was destined for more. Skyla, I didn’t think twice about. She was just a toy. Like the baby ‘fluttershy’ that was named something else. Now we have Flurry and she’s completely different and mysterious even to the characters so I’m curious to know more about her!

It’s actually kinda ironic, ’cause when Skyla was first shown, she used to get as much hate as Flurry did.

yeah me too. That’s where I’ve seen some of the negative treatment of Flurry from her. Ah well. She does have some nice colours. I’m sure we’ll find out more about Flurry though soon

Fanonical characterizations have the ability to be entirely created from scratch. I actually know of, eh, maybe three different Tumblrs with their own interpretations of Skyla. ^_^

I guess I don’t like them pretending she’s better. She was just a toy.

why must people keep drawing Skyla? And worse, with her being superior to Flurry? Flurry is the canon one. Deal.

Some artists liked to have assumed, had she appeared, she’d be somewhat toned down from the vector that appeared on her toy’s box, and her toy itself, too. Much like the box art vectors of every other in-show character not being a complete match to their appearences in-show. :j

I prefer Flurry Heart’s design, but I prefer the name, ‘Skyla’
