Dungeons and Discords sounds pretty neat. I hope for a lot of video game references.
The Cart Before the Ponies reminds me too much of Mario Kart: Double Dash for some odd reason.
The Times They Are a Changeling excites me for the fact we get to see Changelings again.
Another minor problem is Pinkie Pie. You’ve listed the advances of Rarity, RD, Twilight and Fluttershy…but what about Pinkie Pie? Is her development supposed to be becoming less crazy and more down-to-earth “when the situation calls for it”? In other words, less like herself? In fact, some of the other characters seem to be out-doing her in terms of zaniness, making her more useless. It’s not even getting her places like with the other ponies, and I wish there was an episode down the line to address this.
Her treatment by the writers. Sorry, it’s a point I keep moaning about but that’s because it’s becoming all the more frustrating as I catch up with the series. Other characters get an episode to show off their best traits and come up with a solution themselves, and an episode to screw up and learn a lesson. Applejack, it seems, gets episodes where the group gets a victory or fixes the problem for her, and another where she fails. The fact that the other characters keep pressing ahead with personal advances (Wonderbolts Rainbow Dash, Rarity expanding her business, Fluttershy becoming braver, Twilight becoming god) while Applejack’s every victory seems to be rebuilding her farm whenever it’s destroyed, just adds salt to the wound.
Sorry, she’s a personal favourite out of the group, and it’s become the one and only thing I’ve seriously come to hate about the series. Had some hopes that this episode might have been a change for the better. Will leave it at that to avoid further derailment.
Whats your problem with AJ?
Hoping for the best, expecting the worst with this character’s treatment, as per usual.
Still, even if they do screw things up Dungeons and Discords should make up for it.
Don’t count your Chicken Invaders before they hatch.
That would be pretty hilarious :D
You remember when spike or/and PP talked about zombies? So what, could be cool.
No, I don’t try to blow heat off the episode so fervently.
The most I have are a few guesses, hopes and fears to be hopefully unrealized.
You mean like the same way you magically predict the outcome of an episode?.Glass houses,Pon,glass houses
Banana peels? Maybe. Now if somepony tosses Tank at somepony else… :3

28 Pranks Later: If they can do a zombie episode, then I’m already intrigued. The problem with Mare Do Well and Newbie Dash, in addition to the lack of communication you’d expect between friends and teammates, is that I just don’t enjoy sitting around watching a character make an ass of themselves while I wait for them to learn the obvious lesson. If the time is instead spent watching Rainbow survive a zombie apocalypse, then that sounds much more enjoyable.
The Times They Are A Changeling: Twilight, Spike and Starlight visiting the Crystal Empire means we get to see more Sunburst, and there’s also changelings. I’m sold.
Dungeons and Discords: An episode about tabletop roleplaying is right up my alley. If this episode comes from a place of genuine respect and enjoyment of said RPGs, then I’m totally down. Ironically, I think I’m setting myself up for disappointment by imagining all the neat things they could do with the premise.
–Quit pissing around and get in here!
–Don’t be an ass, Francis!
(I’d probably embed a screencap of the mule in Bad Apple if I had any energy at time of writing. lel)
–I can’t wait to recycle shit again!
–Hey, Louis, you look like shit!
–Francis, is there anything you don’t hate?
(Shit, now I’ve forgotten the limit on mini RPs before being considered Rule 10 violations, so, this’ll be the end. XD )
You should also take into consideration the looks the Apple family had on their faces when Applejack said that.
