I’m a huge fan of Shadow, and Omega’s a pretty cool character, too (Rouge is alright, I guess), but there’s one major reason why this “battle” wouldn’t amount to much:
Omega is a weapon of mass destruction.
The Shadowbolts don’t even have magic (except for SciTwi, but that’s only when she’s gone Midnight), nor any sort of mundane weapon unless one counts Sour Sweet using a bow during the FG, but that’s worthless against Team Dark.
Honestly, Rouge might – might – protect Twilight from her teammates, but as long as the Shadowbolts are their canon selves, Shadow and Omega would rip them to shreds.
