Sombra’s horn is still out there somewhere in the snow. Its just a matter of time before somepony finds it. Evil never truly dies. It merely waits for the right moment to return…
In regards to Sombra’s horn not being surrounded by Flurry’s magic field, I couldn’t get it to look quite right. Let’s just say that the horn is absorbing her magic, rendering the aura invisible. A tainted thing like that would almost certainly have some strange properties to it.

Flurry: The Elements can sense it!
Sombra: They’re showing you the right path.
Flurry: Show me again, the power of the darkness!
Sombra: Loses the smile Please don’t ask me to do that…
Flurry: Show me…master…
Sombra: Sigh The darkness corrupts your mind, makes you a monster. I swear to you, it’ll only make your situation worse. Don’t you see? Once my reasoning returned, I made the right decision. The Darkness will make you turn against your friends and family…
Flurry: Gets angry NO!
Sombra: Don’t do it.
Flurry: I will NOT be seduced.
Sombra: Your past will ruin the future if you continue.
Flurry: Nothing will stand in our way!

Flurry: I will fulfill the destiny of The Empire!
Sombra: Please don’t!
Flurry: I will finish…Flurry’s eyes turn into Sombra’s…what you started.
Sombra: You have to listen to me: I shouldn’t have made those decisions. It’s not the path I should’ve made. Ever since then…I’ve been haunted by The Darkness.
Flurry: Gets up, the purple smoke now bellowing from her eyes I’LL SHOW YOU…THE DARKNESS!

Sombra: You can destroy your parents, The Elements and those pathetic rulers at Canterlot, they have foreseen this. It is your destiny…
Flurry: I will not let anything stand in our way!
Sombra: Gooooood. Now release your rage and hate!
Flurry: Show me…master…
Sombra: You have not yet realize your importance, you have only begun to discover your power…
Flurry Hearts begins to see images and visions of her immense power and how she dominated all who stood in her path
Flurry: I will finish…
Her eyes become the same as Sombra’s
Flurry: …what you started!
She gets up and walks off
Sombra: Slowly walks back into the shadows Excellent. Now go forth and don’t fail me again!

And even if she were to somehow gain an interest to explore outside of the Empire, AND if her parents Shining Armor and Cadance felt comfortable enough, they’ll have guards accompany her.
