@Keith Mowz
I actually do think artists are obligated to keep their art available once they show it to the public, morally obligated. Art is culture, culture is humanity, so to remove it is to hurt humanity.

Unless you had sent him money for a commission and he vanished without refunding it or completing it, your whining is incredibly entitled and self-centered. Artists are not in any way obligated to give you their two weeks notice. They are not obligated to keep their art on display. They are not obligated to tell you why they’ve lost interest in drawing stuff.
No, more likely he’s the artist equivalent of “taking the money and running.”
He didn’t give us a “thanks for the ride” or a “goodbye.” He just deletes everything and pretends he didn’t exist. I gave this guy my money, and he just ditches us, completely out of the blue, without warning.
Imagine if I made pony art for a large group of people, became famous, then suddenly deleted everything and vanished, without giving a single reason why. People would most definitely be pissed at me and be asking, even demanding, for an explanation, for an answer.
We never got one. We got a blatant “Fuck you” and Mosta suddenly no longer exists.
If he ever decides to make pony art again, he won’t be getting a goddamn penny from me.
@Background Pony #2598
Was that a typo? Because he can totally say “Fuck you” and stop doing pony art. And to the people like you (unless you typoed) and the other BG pony, you realise you’re the reason he stopped right? If you feel like he’s saying “Fuck you” to you, then yeah, he probably is, to you types specifically. The rest of us got a “Thanks for the ride, moving on now.” from him.
Artists are people, remember to treat them as people, or else we could see the rest of the best artists go.
What you do does dictate what you make. You can’t just do one thing for a few years than just say “Fuck you” to the fan base and stop making them happy because it bores you.
My opinion. He gave us the finger. He could’ve said goodbye in a nicer fashion.
Nope. He deleted everything and tried to wipe everything he made off the internet. That’s giving the finger to people who have followed him for years. That’s being a cunt.
@Background Pony #66EE
Pretty sure they just stopped posting pone stuff. Due to entitled assholes constantly badgering them to make more free content to their specifications.
@Background Pony #66EE
He is just another person making pony art for himself and many others and having a good time in the fandom Without selling himself to making a patreon or doing commisions for something he liked to do.
He never owe you or anybody else nothing for being here.
There won’t be any more! Ever!
MORE….

I sent in a few commissions. I paid a lot of money. Right before he left, I asked him if I could have a refund. He said, flat out, “No.”
Fucker took my money and ran off. That’s just a big reason I hate him. I would’ve hated him less if I got my goddamn money back.
Edited

I want a fucking explanation at this point.
is this now an insane background pony thread?

>Stops drawing pone
>”Give the finger to all of his fans”
News flash; you are not entitled to free art. artists are not under any sort of legal nor social contract to continue to provide you with free art.
Ok, i have to find something about this myself.
Get pestered by a couple assholes, decides to give the finger to all of his fans.
Yeah, fuck you too, Thy.

He still could’ve, you know, NOT told us to fuck off, though.
If only I could downvote comments.
