Unless you had sent him money for a commission and he vanished without refunding it or completing it, your whining is incredibly entitled and self-centered. Artists are not in any way obligated to give you their two weeks notice. They are not obligated to keep their art on display. They are not obligated to tell you why they’ve lost interest in drawing stuff.

No, more likely he’s the artist equivalent of “taking the money and running.”
 
He didn’t give us a “thanks for the ride” or a “goodbye.” He just deletes everything and pretends he didn’t exist. I gave this guy my money, and he just ditches us, completely out of the blue, without warning.
 
Imagine if I made pony art for a large group of people, became famous, then suddenly deleted everything and vanished, without giving a single reason why. People would most definitely be pissed at me and be asking, even demanding, for an explanation, for an answer.
 
We never got one. We got a blatant “Fuck you” and Mosta suddenly no longer exists.
 
If he ever decides to make pony art again, he won’t be getting a goddamn penny from me.

Was that a typo? Because he can totally say “Fuck you” and stop doing pony art. And to the people like you (unless you typoed) and the other BG pony, you realise you’re the reason he stopped right? If you feel like he’s saying “Fuck you” to you, then yeah, he probably is, to you types specifically. The rest of us got a “Thanks for the ride, moving on now.” from him.
 
Artists are people, remember to treat them as people, or else we could see the rest of the best artists go.

What you do does dictate what you make. You can’t just do one thing for a few years than just say “Fuck you” to the fan base and stop making them happy because it bores you.
