Supply and demand seems to dictate the dollar value of art. If there is too much supply the dollar value goes down no matter how much effort goes into it. Just my two cents, take it or leave it.

Regardless, I guess i don’t deserve to earn $0.2 extra for the max 2 dudes that are going to download the HD or make my patrons to feel a bit more special because I actually just leave the HD copy use to discretion of the commissioner.

You should probably still ask.
Buying the high resolution copy of paid content doesn’t give you the right to redistribute that content, just the right to view that content yourself.

But i guess there is a good reason of why i work all days of the year (almost), don’t have vacations, barely have free time and don’t sleep enough. It’s because you need to break your back working if you wanna do a decent amount to survive as an artist. There’s no way to just get even a bit more from what you do, sadly. When you try to, someone goes and ruins it…
