I meant how a recolored Celestia looks versus a pony originally drawn as Luna. I couldn’t seem to find any references, though, so instead of just saying “very different” or “different,” I said that :q

they’re totally different. different poses in each step and different ways of their regalia falling off of them

That’s a pretty tough accusation to make, but no, you can see they’re in different poses, so he had to re-draw them entirely. It’s not a recolor.  
Oldest: Celestia is standing, Luna was walking.  
Next: Celestia’s looking at her hoof, Luna has all hooves on ground.  
Filly: Celestia’s trying to walk off it looks like - Luna’s looking at her hooves.  
Foal: Celestia’s on all fours, Luna’s sitting on her haunches.
 
Also the waves on the manes are even different.
 
If you recolor Luna, it doesn’t look like Celestia - at least not exactly. There are small but noticable differences.

Skitter you mirrored and recolored that other image didnt you?
