I tell them “rainbow dash flirtatiously/lovingly touching Applejack’s cutie mark with a wing”. I might sometimes go in a little more detail, explaining the difference between the flirty aspect or the loving aspect of it (two different things, yes). But the poses, expressions, reactions, settings, everything is left to the artists.
So like, you don’t really give them anything specific when you commission them? You just tell them what feather marking is and let them do their own thing?
Eh, not so much a fetish. I just like the idea behind it and, more than anything, love to see all the different ideas/styles people come up with when I ask them to draw it. There’s a lot of unique things in each - take Pudge’s very kitty-like rubbing approach to it here, or Silfoe’s feather duster. There’s plenty of things to do with it, and I want to see as many artists do it as I can (and, hopefully,see the idea spread some more without my prompting

I’d honestly wonder if feathermarking will become a fetish for someone else beside you.
It’s a nice concept after all.
Not 100% of feathermarking is him directly asking for it though.
I know I’ve drawn some because I find the idea adorable and awesome. Its especially cute and funny and awkward for one of my favorite ships (Shyceps) because it should be a subtle casual gesture but with Bulk’s tiny wings it becomes incredibly goofy and obvious.
[Adds it to the incredibly short list of ‘things to draw’] Should only take two or three months for me to get around to doing some more. Maybe less if I color some of my old stuff.

The catlike nuzzling is definitely something captainpudgemuffin does a lot, yes.
Feathermarking… well, “wing secude” is a good analogy. It’s something I came up with in a fic, where a pegasus touches another pony’s cutie mark with their wing. It’s pegasus body language and can mean “Hey, good looking!” or “I like you!” in a flirty way, or “I love you” in a more loving way (if already in a relationship, for example).
I was talking about the fuzziness and the constant nuzzle seduces - or are those the same guy too?
By the way, what does “feathermarking” mean?
I tried to make a “wing seduce” tag (to match “tail seduce”).
