@Rainbow Dash
Which is fine, the lesson here though, is write about what you like and if you entertain some people with it. Then you have suceeded.

I happen to like Sonic, there are people that find my story entertaining, everything else is irrelevant.

Sonic and Spitfire are friends. Sonic and Dash are friends. Dash broke Sonic’s heart in an attempt to break up Spitfire and Soarin’ because Dash has a big crush on Soarin’ and hates Spitifre. How is beating up Dash petty? And even if it is, Spitfire’s furious at what she did, she’s a violent and pissed off pony with an axe to grind. This is exactly what would happen.

From the source:

“Fine!” Dash yelled out, exasperated and flustered as she made her way to the door while vainly trying to wipe tears away. She unlocked the door and pulled on the handle to see who was so impatient.

She immediately regretted the decision.

Two bright yellow forelegs from a reared up pony were waiting on the other side that lashed out with hooves that struck her squarely in the chest with enough force to sending her stumbling back into the small bath room and colliding roughly against the wall with her back before slumping down to her haunches. Her head had snapped backwards from the impact and banged hard enough against the wall surface to knock the golden laurel from gala dress off as her head screamed in pain. Before she even knew what was going on she felt herself get hoisted back onto two legs before being roughly shoved backwards into the wall again and held there. Rainbow Dash shook her head and forced herself to focus and her eyes widened at what she saw.

Spitfire was on two legs, her left fore hoof pinned the cyan Pegasus firm against the bathroom wall while her right was cocked far back behind her head. Before Dash could make a move or shout a single protest, the Captain unloaded and caught her flush against the jaw with a right cross that knocked her off balance. Spitfire let her fall and as a result Rainbow Dash banged her head against the sink before falling on the ground. She felt several explosive pains shoot across her waist and thighs and quickly realized that Spitfire was furiously stomping her into the bathroom floor as hard as she could. Then with one strong kick Rainbow Dash was knocked over prone on her back and she had just enough time see Spitfire lift her hind leg, place her hoof on her throat and begin to apply pressure. The sound of her choking filled the bathroom as Spitfire braced herself with her forelegs on the wall so she could drop all her weight on Dash’s neck. Dash fumbled to get her off but quickly felt her body grow weak and the edge of her vision go dark.

Just when she was at the brink of passing out Spitfire lifted her hoof and quickly scooped Dash up and pinned her to the wall one more time. Rainbow Dash felt pressure on her windpipe once more and realized that she was being held by Spitfire’s left fore hoof at the shoulder of her dress and the Captain had buried her right foreleg across her throat while she leaned in cutting her of her air supply, yet still allowing her to breathe, albeit with much difficulty. However, for the first time since Spitfire’s attack, Dash could finally make out her features and saw that the Captain’s face was just as tear stained as hers was.

“He loves you!” Spitfire shouted at her. Dash could of swore it sounded like he had been crying earlier as well. “He loves you and you don’t even care do you!”

“S-Soarin’ doesn’t lo-“ Dash tried to explain but was cut off as Spitfire removed her foreleg from her throat only to strike her with a hard right cross against her cheek again before applying pressure again.

“The Hero you idiot! Are you that really that stupid! Or does he mean so little to you that know but just don’t give a damn!” Spitfire shouted

“Sonic?! W-what are you talking about?!” Dash choked out.

“Of course you wouldn’t know! It wasn’t enough that you want to steal Soarin’ from me, but you were so caught up in this sick, twisted little game of yours, that you can’t see that he was head over heels in love with you! You were so busy trying to hurt me that you didn’t give two fucks who else you hurt in the process!”

“I never,” Rainbow Dash struggle to get out, “never meant to hurt Sonic! That wasn’t….I didn’t want that! I didn’t…didn’t know that h-“

“SHUT UP!…YOU SHUT UP!…YOU SHUT!…YOUR MOUTH!” Spitfire roared punching her again and again with each burst of anger before resting back on her throat. She closed the distance between them so their snout’s touched and bored into her with a glare so intent, Dash could have sworn the Captain could have burned a hole through her face. “He saved us! He saved us all! Yes I liked him, but he was your friend too for Celestia’s sake! But none of that mattered to you did it? No! You just wanted to hurt me in any way you could. Well congratulations! You hurt me! I hope you’re happy! Because you hurt him too! You broke his heart you black-hearted bitch!” Spitfire screamed accenting her final words by throwing Dash head first into the nearby porcelain tub, leaving her lying in her now torn and tattered dress and slumped over in a jumbled mess. Dash closed her eyes to try and help block out the pain, but heard Spitfire hawk back a wad of phlegm, spit and instantly felt a hot wetness strike her cheek. “You hurt me today Twerp. But I promise you, I swear on my life! I’m going to break you in half!”

Dash heard a the squeal of a knob being turned and suddenly felt freezing cold shower water rain down on her followed by the sound of Spitfire trotting away.
