No, I used the Page-Info menu that’s under the Tools section of the Firefox browser. I opened it while I had the tab for the game build open. Then I selected the .swf file using the Media-Tab within the Page-Info menu and saved it to my system as a .swf file.
 
As for the error/s, firefox gives me this error: ”Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support.“ While IrfanView tells me that it can’t find the file header.
 
Now, the main reason I think it’s the game itself rather than my download method is the fact that I was able to successfully download the .swf file of an older build from the same site using the Page-Info method.

No, this is a self-contained flash game. Are you sure you downloaded the right file? If you right clicked on the source and hit “Save target as…”, that will not work in this case, beause the source links to an HTM file, not a SWF file, which is probably what you’d be looking for. If not, how did you go about trying to download it?

Curious. Does this game have to fetch files from a server or something like that? Because ti won’t work when downloaded to my system and firefox can’t play it when I open the file I downloaded, yet firefox plays the file on your site no problem.

The artist did state that the game is in pre-alpha.

Very unpolished yet but certainly looks like it can become something good.
