Gilda and Billy clash about Rainbow Dash.
Starlight is really good at manipulating ponies.
We’ll see. I’m hoping he won’t turn it into a ploy to get Gilda to cut her ties with Rainbow, but looking at it realistically, that’s the most likely outcome.
At least it seems Dumbbell and friends are a bit nicer as young adults. This teen version of him wouldn’t be friendly to Dash for all the gold and sonic rainbooms of Equestria.
Of course, that begs the question just how incredibly bad supervision in that flight school must’ve been. Rampant bullying, students who are weak flyers falling off clouds… I know Pegasi are proud of their warrior traditions, but there’s a limit.
People mistaken becoming a better person with removing your flaws. That’s not the case at all. People don’t change, they learn, and she’s still pretty much all of those, but rather than lashing out against team suck she refocused on shaping them up. The douchenozzle, on the other hand? He has done none of these.
Except she actually grew in the comic and helped turn the team around.
Thanks to him, somehow.

Billy wasn’t trying to get Gilda to hit him, that’s so ridiculous. Lol.

Are Billy’s accusations accurate or is he just lying? I almost feel inclined to believe him if only because Gilda is taking him seriously. Of the two, I have an easier time believing Gilda.
So is Rainbow Dash an asshole douche according to the average person outside her circle? Or is Billy making stuff up?
The problem is I can’t tell. Should I be able to?
That does not preclude Dash having flaws, Billy having valid complaints, or anything else.
Well, obviously hot sex with his griffon marefriend makes everything all better, even after the somewhat painfully needed “you really need to lay off of my friend, seriously” line by Gilda…especially when she see firsthand how much of a dick (literally and figurally) Billy is to Dash…
….damn G, the sex must be that good to deal with an asshole like Billy and kinda sweep it under the rug…
You missed the point. They say he was planning to goad Gilda into hitting him. As in, he wanted her to do it. If she had, it would’ve been all his fault and none of it Gilda’s, according to them.
Problem is it falls a little flat coming from her direct rival who has done nothing but sabotage and antagonize her the whole story.
He is a selfish bastard. He is also right, you know?
Just saying, he has no right to call RD those things when he’s worse than her, this comic just made me hate him more.
No need for that. I already know these.
The only thing he was good for in that instance was setting events in motion. Still doesn’t change the fact that he’s an asshole. He’s still 100% in the wrong here, don’t believe me? Check these comics:

Only to cover his own ass. While RD has some ego problems, Billy has-again-ACTIVLY antagonized her and made sure she couldn’t get on the team just to SPITE her.
If anything, he’s even WORSE than her!
