I would disagree on merging “Twilight Sparkle” along with the other Princess Twilight tags.  
Maybe make the Princess Twilight tags an implication for “Twilight Sparkle” but not merge of them.
 
Unicorn Twilight Sparkle and Princess Twilight Sparkle are two different forms/appearances/states of the same pony.  
Similar to how we separate straight haired Pinkie Pie from regular Pinkie Pie as “Pinkamena Diane Pie”.
 
The solution would be to:  
Merge “Princess Twilight Sparkle” with “Alicorn Twilight”, “Alicorn Twilight Sparkle” and “Princess Twilight”.  
Then put an implication for “Twilight Sparkle” for those tags. (Looks like it’s being implemented already. No need for this one then.)
 
That way anyone who is looking for a specific kind of Twilight Sparkle would have an easier time searching in Derpibooru by just including or excluding the Princess Twilight tags.

EDIT: mane6 tag should be reviewed, with the Fighting is Magic stuff remaining, and the rest moved to mane six

I do believe that merging “DJ” with “Vinyl Scratch” is a mistake since anyone of the characters can be drawn as DJs themselves.
