being a fan of something doesn’t mean you practice it, practicing it means you’re putting it into practice. It also doesn’t help that the previous sentence says, “Violence and sex always sells”, implying this is more media related.
 
though, whatever, I’m not planning to drag this on much further. I was initially upset because this seems like the poorest excuse there is to give something a grimdark tag ever.

Not to mention, there’s a difference between implying something and showing it. “Bachelor Party” is a lighthearted comedy with a soft R rating, yet it depicts prostitution (other than the actual intercourse) and strongly implies intentional bestiality.

you know, I used to think that the “grim” of the grimdark made up notion was there for the especially dark and depressing of thoughts, not any offensive word that is automatically associated with grimdark just because of the nature of said word, while completely ignoring the context of the post and putting Grimdark over an offensive joke.
 
yes, it’s a joke, but grimdark it is not. It can be dark humor, but I’ve never heard of grimdark humor before, hence grimdark stands for something completely different and is its own genre.  
It’s like associating happy tragic, IT JUST DOESN’T WORK.
 
it’s even more absurd when this particular tag is used for everything, even if there is nothing to show a grimdark scenario. If you can deal with suggestive, implied, I suggest you add a multitude of categories to complicate this tag system once and for all and make it a chore of biblical proportions to all artists.. If someone out there is so bothered by the idea of an implied “Grimdark” implied joke, that they need to shove it in anything, disregarding how impossibly terrible to navigate this tag becomes for everyone who is INTO Grimdark, I Suggest you add all the shit you need to add this pile of garbage to your hidden tags list and leave grimdark to actually be Functionable to those who are into it!
