these are things that people think have no value  
but when you get them from the right people

the friends you thought were so great didn’t really love you

and the person you hated so much turns out to be your only true friend  
after you’ve done it a few times you start to see a pattern  
the people you hated so much all act the same  
a cliche role that’s a massive strong stereotype  
that’s because it’s an act  
you’re not seeing the real them  
when you see a glimpse of the real person it’s more complex a personality than anyone you know  
a more complete person  
more complete than any of your current friends  
more mature, more soulful  
and it’s a stronger narcotic than any other drug

narcotics are designed to artificially induce endorphin  
but they cause huge trauma to the body  
no matter what dose you take it could never be enough  
you will never be content because to have a high enough level of endorphin to be content and satisfied you would have to overdose on the drug beyond the point of death  
and your body and mind become immune to artificial stimulus over a long enough period of time  
doing good deeds especially those that require a lot of effort, stress and pain both physically and mentally induce levels of endorphin to such high levels that it can make an individual be completely content with life  
and for once in their life be satisfied  
it’s a real mind opener  
it changes your perspective on life  
and unlike drugs it’s not addictive  
you wont crave that feeling  
but you do get the same feeling every time  
and you’d want to feel that feeling again in your own time for recreation  
not because you want it  
not as a pick me up  
but just for a bit of fun now and again

I did think the ending to that episode was a little hypocritical. Babs could have talked to Silver and Diamond about how she felt. Maybe she could have even gotten them to leave the CMC alone.
 
But nope, instead she just turns on them and doesn’t even try to help when they fall in the mud.
 
Now, what Diamond and Silver were doing was still wrong, but it doesn’t justify humiliating them like that. That’ll just make them resent the CMC more, and then the cycle repeats.

I love seeing things from the “bad guy” POV. DT and SS get alot of flak, but people seem to forget that they’re kids, two spoiled little girls that haven’t learned empathy yet. Something is going on to make them go after the CMC ike they do. Rich people have problems too people, and even if they seem trivial to you, yours would seem trivial to the next bracket down, their reasons are just as valid as anyone else’s.

Now I feel kinda bad for Diamond Tiara…then I remember she’s an ass.
