I think that anyone whom thinks that alicorn Twilight (as hinted at by the Crystal Empire sneak peek) is a bad idea are the bad people in the fandom.
 
I’m kidding, of course, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Seriously, I think the closest thing to “bad” people in the fandom would be…I’m really not sure, though I do know one thing: They’re not specific to one subset of the fandom

Mayhaps so, but you forget how many of those cloppers are falling into this. Hint: It’s not from being into the show first. They could be furfags. They could be zoos. They could just be into porn-of-anything-in-general. But I haven’t seen many pornsters who suddenly started drawing just because of the show. Most of’em just chose alternate names because they wished to separate it from their usual work. The same can be said of the grimdarkers.
 
So the interest ‘in that thing’ was already there, they aren’t ‘perverting’ it any less than, say, Disney itself perverted Maleficient and the rest of its princesses.
 
But the knights are definitely coming into this shit with a chip on their shoulder and no goddamn sense of where a line should be drawn. They just want to EXTERMINATUS on everypony indiscriminately.

I said it earlier, and I say it againg. Both cloppers and white knights are “bad” people in this fandom (notice the commas).
 
Clopping is just as “bad” as any other porn on the internet. Not harmfull unless exposed in public. Like the idiots who done intervews with Howard Stern, use clop sprays in TF2, spam it on /mlp/ etc. Plus it’s sexualizing an innocent ligh-hearted kid’s show, so thinking that such things won’t meet with at least disgust is rather dumb. Probably just as dumb as thinking that biching and dissing cloppers will solve the problem.

Clopping is fun and I don’t feel ashamed at it one lick but I do find it odd when people cry about R34. It seems counter productive because all they do is draw far more attention to it and make it some super important issue (which it need not be).
