Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!
The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Mods see you
@TheDeinonychus

Reminds me of the Japanese week association;

Tuesday=Fire
Wednesday=Water
Thursday=Wood
Friday=Earth
Saturday=Metal
Sunday=Sun
Monday=MOON!

So the “deep” joke is present there, too.
I do think it was meant to be the surface, “Everybody hates Mondays,” joke, but the deep joke is still there.

@WM-R
That’s the ‘surface’ joke. But the more subtle joke beneath the surface involving the meaning of Monday possibly implicates the misfortune, albeit friendly, Celestia has in store for her overzealous sister.

Then again, I’m probably overthinking it.
In fact, I probably have no idea what I’m talking about, man.

Ok, let me explain.
The names we use for the days of the week come from old Norse names for them. Effectively, they are broken down as such.
Sunday = Sun’s Day
Monday = Moon’s Day
Tuesday = Tyr’s Day
Wednesday = Woden’s (Oden’s) Day
Thursday = Thor’s Day
Friday = Freya’s Day
Saturday = Saturn’s Day
Saturday is sort of the oddball of the group, using a Roman name rather than a Norse name.
